CCHCS seeks to fill a permanent/full-time Information Technology Specialist II position in Information Technology Services Division.

Under general direction of the Information Technology (IT) Manager I, the IT Specialist II works independently as the technical expert on the most complex software systems and projects.  Acts as a technical leader or project leader activities related to development and maintenance of application services and technologies. Supports the most complex enterprise application development efforts which may include planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, user training, and troubleshooting. The incumbent must maintain confidentiality of information acquired while performing job duties, demonstrate ethical behavior and work cooperatively with others. Travel and/or after hours support of California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) software applications and systems may be required due to operational needs.
