Information Technology Specialist II - Testing Release Lead
$69,780 - $112,896 Annual Range
CCHCS seeks to fill a permanent/full-time Information Technology Specialist I position in the Information Technology Services Division.

Under the direction of the Information Technology (IT) Manager, the IT Specialist II serves as the testing/release lead, demonstrating a depth of leadership and expertise while performing a wide variety of complex tasks in support of the Application Innovation Services (AIS), Application Services (AS).Acts as the Lead on application testing/release for enterprise initiatives, projects, and other units in the organization. The incumbent must maintain confidentiality of information acquired while performing job duties, demonstrate ethical behavior and work cooperatively with others. Travel to institutions and after hours support of California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) software applications and systems may be required due to operational need.

1. Describe your experience with Software testing life cycle. What challenges have you faced and what different testing tools were used.

2. Describe your experience in Performing  manual and automated deployment to Web, Database and Report servers using tools like TFS, Visual Studio, Power Shell Scripting, and etc.

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) issued an Order on August 19, 2021 which requires workers working in a healthcare setting at all local and state correctional facilities and detention centers be vaccinated against COVID-19.
