Chief Psychologist, CF -  Complex Patient Populations
$160,056 - $170,736 Annual Range

INTERNAL CUTOFF DATES:  01/25/2021, 02/22/2021, 03/22/2021.

Under the general direction of the Deputy Medical Executive for Complex Patient Populations, the Chief Psychologist (CP) is responsible for ensuring an integrated and coordinated trauma-informed approach to care, and leading organizational change through implementation of principles and practices that support sustained trauma informed practices.  The CP will develop education and outreach for programmatic needs to address behavioral and other stressors, and trains clinical and non-clinical staff members on creating a safe environment and prevention of secondary traumatic stressors for patients and staff.  The CP serves as a clinical subject-matter-expert (SME) who provides leadership and technical direction to CCHCS Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) and designs programs and processes to improve patient and staff engagement and wellness, health outcomes, and reduce unnecessary utilization.  The CP will work collaboratively with other clinical team members in the Complex Care Program, allied health staff, nursing, mental health, classification and custody supervisors and managers, and other key stakeholders, to ensure an integrated whole person care approach is applied to services that are provided.  Moderate travel to California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) institutions statewide is required.
