$293,532 - $302,340 Annual Range (Time Limited Board Certified) 
$278,856 - $287,196 Annual Range (Lifetime Board Certified)

Under the general direction of the Deputy Medical Executive, the Chief Physician and Surgeon (CP&S) will oversee clinical services for the Addictions Program. This includes coordination of substance-use disorder treatment (SUDT), medication-assisted treatment (MAT), that involve high intensity clinical services, as well as complex transitions among multiple providers within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) as well as contract and county providers.

Desirable Qualifications: Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of medicine in California as determined by the Medical Board of California or the California Board of Osteopathic Examiners, and possession of a valid certificate issued by an American Medical Specialty Board or an American Osteopathic Board as a specialist in internal medicine or family medicine.
